This depends on how big of a fridge you have and whether or not you have enough space for the unit. Next, you’ll want to measure the area you’re working with. Once you know what size you need, you’ll have to decide if you want to go with a built-in model or a freestanding one. A built-in model is usually easier to install because it doesn’t require any plumbing work. However, you’ll still need to drill holes into the walls of your fridge to run wires to the unit. Freestanding units are typically more expensive than built-ins, but they offer more flexibility. For instance, you could move the unit around your house if needed.
