They usually only require a few parts to fix.
In this article, I’ll explain you how to repair a GE refrigerator
GE Refrigerator Quit Working – Solutions
If your refrigerator quit working, you need to check if the power supply is turned off. If the power supply is not turned off, then turn it back on. If the problem still persists, then call the service center and ask them to repair your refrigerator.
1. Replace the Power Cord
If the power cord is damaged, replace it immediately. 2. Check the Compressor Answer: Check whether the compressor is running properly. If it is not running, then try restarting the compressor.
2. Adjust the Temperature Controls
Adjust the temperature controls according to the instructions provided. 3. Clean the Filter Answer: Clean the filter periodically. Remove the filter from the appliance and clean it using a brush.
3. Replace the Fan Motors
Replace the fan motors if they become worn out. 4. Check the Drain Valve Answer: Check the drain valve occasionally. It should not leak any liquid.
