Electrolux Refrigerator Water Dispenser Not Working – Solutions
1 Check if the refrigerator dispenser is plugged into the wall outlet. 2 Make sure the power cord is connected properly.
1. Water Supply Tube
Check the water supply tube is not blocked. If the water supply tube is blocked, please unplug the refrigerator and check whether the water supply tube is clear. If the water is still not flowing, please contact our customer service team.
2. Water Inlet Valve
Please turn off the power switch and remove the cover from the water inlet valve. Open the water inlet valve and clean the screen. 3. Drainage Pipe Answer: Please open the drainage pipe and check if the drain hose is clogged. Clean the drainage pipe and replace the drainage pipe cap.
3. Dispenser Control Board
Turn off the power supply and remove the cover from dispenser control board. Remove the screws and take out the dispenser control board. Clean the dispenser control board and replace the screws. 4. Filter Screen Answer: Turn off the power supply and open the filter screen. Clean the filter screen and replace the filter screen.
4. Dispenser Switch
Turn off the power supply. Open the switch cover. Clean the switch cover and replace the switch cover. 5. Water Tank Answer: Turn off power supply. Open the tank cover. Clean the tank cover and replace the tank cover.
5. Water Filter
Open the filter cover. Remove the filter cover. Clean the filter cover and replace the filter cover. 6. Water Pump Answer: Turn off the power supply. Disconnect the pump from the power source. Clean the pump impeller and replace the impeller.
What to Do If My Electrolux Refrigerator Water Dispenser is Slow?
If your refrigerator water dispenser is slow, check the following items: 1. Make sure the water line is connected properly. 2. Check if the faucet is turned on. 3. Check if the water level is full. 4. Check if the water flow rate is set correctly. 5. Check if the refrigerator is plugged into a power outlet. 6. Check if the refrigerator door is closed tightly. 7. Check if the ice maker is working properly. 8. Check if the ice tray is filled with ice. 9. Check if the ice cube tray is clean. 10. 1. Make sure the water supply line is connected properly. 2. Check if the fount is turned on.
1. Vinyl Tubing
If the water dispenser is leaking from the tub itself, check the rubber gasket around the spout. This gasket is usually located under the handle of the dispenser. If the gasket is damaged, replace it. 2. Plastic Tubing Answer: If the leak is coming from the plastic tubing, remove the top cap and see if any liquid is dripping down into the reservoir. If not, tighten the screw holding the tubing onto the spout. If the leak is still occurring, replace the tubing.
2. Water Line
Check the faucet for leaks. If the leak is coming out of the faucet, turn off the water supply and open the tap slowly until the leak stops. Then shut off the water supply completely and test the faucet again. If the leak continues, replace the faucet. 3. Spigot Answer: If the spigot is leaking, loosen the nut on the bottom of the spigot and pull it away from the wall. Look for cracks or damage to the threads. Tighten the nut back on and retest the spigot. If the leak persists, replace the spigot.
3. Water Valve
If the leak is coming from the water valve, remove the handle by unscrewing it. Remove the screw holding the handle in place. Turn the handle clockwise until the leak stops. Replace the handle. 4. Faucet Handle Answer: If the leak is coming from under the faucet handle, loosen the nut on top of the faucet and lift the handle off the faucet. Loosen the screws holding the handle in place and remove the handle. Clean any debris from around the screws. Reattach the handle and tighten the nuts. Test the faucet. If the leak persists after replacing the handle, replace the faucets.
4. Catch Pan
1 Check the pan for cracks or holes. If there are no cracks or holes, check the bottom of the pan for rust. If rust is present, clean the pan thoroughly using soap and warm water. Rinse the pan well. Dry the pan completely. 2 Make sure the pan is level. If the pan is not level, adjust the leveling legs until the pan is level.

If the ice dispenser does not work, try pressing the button again. This usually works if the problem is caused by a loose connection between the ice maker and the refrigerator. If this does not work, press the reset button located near the top right corner of the ice dispenser. Pressing the reset button allows the ice maker to restart.
