If the light remains on when you insert the plug, then there is a loose connection in the wall. Try pulling out and reinserting the plug again.
Turn Off the Appliances
If you still cannot turn on your appliance, then shut off all of the appliances around your home. While doing so, remove and inspect all electrical cords. Look for frayed wire ends or open connections. Also, ensure that you disconnected the AC adapter. Disconnecting the AC adapter will prevent the compressor motor from running continuously.

Step 1: Check for Frozen Food Items

Step 5: Disconnect the Compressor Motor Circuit Board
Now, disconnect the motor control circuit board from the compressor motor. Do so by removing the four screws that secure the board to the base of the freezer compartment. Be careful not to touch the wires attached to the motor control board when doing this.
Step 6: Turn On the Power Switch
Turn the power switch on again. Now, plug the compressor motor control board back into its original position. Once reconnected, retighten the four screws securing the board to the base.
Step 7: Replace the Top Cover Plate
Finally, replace the top cover plate over the freezer compartment. Reattach the four screws securing the panel to the frame of the freezer.
